# Non-US Currencies Broadly Rise, Kiwi, Krona, Forint, Peso Up At Least 1.5%, Rand Gains Over 2.3%

On Wednesday (April 8), at the close of New York trading, the Euro to Dollar rose 0.59%, at 1.1663; Sterling to Dollar rose 0.81%, at 1.3398; Dollar to Swiss Franc fell 0.84%, at 0.7913. Among commodity currency pairs, the Australian Dollar to US Dollar rose 0.97%, the New Zealand Dollar to US Dollar rose 1.66%, and the US Dollar to Canadian Dollar fell 0.29%. The Swedish Krona to US Dollar rose 1.68%, the Norwegian Krone to US Dollar rose 0.69%, and the Danish Krone to US Dollar rose 0.59%. The Polish Zloty to US Dollar rose 1.01%, and the Hungarian Forint to US Dollar rose 1.75%. The Turkish Lira to US Dollar rose 0.2%, the South African Rand to US Dollar rose 2.35%, the Mexican Peso to US Dollar rose 1.49%, and the Brazilian Real to US Dollar rose 1.06%.
