# CHINA POWER's Shenyang Energy Investment Chaoyang Wind Power Project records breakthrough performance

China Power (02380.HK) announced that its Shenyang Energy Investment Chaoyang Wind Power Project has made breakthroughs in capacity and safe operations, reflecting the group's refined operational capabilities and effectively maximizing the returns on green assets.

The company stated that the Chaoyang project team successfully seized favorable wind conditions on February 9, achieving a daily power generation of up to 4.1975 million kilowatt-hours, a significant increase of 635,400 kilowatt-hours compared to the previous record, setting a new historical high. As of February 10 this year, the project has also achieved a milestone of 1,000 consecutive days of safe operation.

The company further stated that China Power is simultaneously advancing the upgrade of traditional units and vigorously promoting "green thermal power." This dual-track strategy of "new energy + green thermal power" not only has substantial carbon reduction effects but also successfully serves as a "ballast" for the new type of power grid, ensuring energy security
