# Tencent Cloud: Starting from May 9th, prices for AI computing power, container services, and EMR-related products will increase by 5%

According to Zhitong Finance APP, Tencent Cloud announced that due to the continuous surge in global AI computing power demand and a significant increase in core hardware supply chain costs, it will adjust the list prices of AI computing power, container services, and Elastic MapReduce (EMR) related products starting from May 9, 2026, with an increase of 5% across the board.

The specific details are as follows:

AI computing power related product services: increased by 5%;

Container service TKE - native node related product services: increased by 5%;

Elastic MapReduce (EMR) related product services: increased by 5%.

Against the backdrop of a global explosion in AI demand and rising supply chain prices, several companies have already begun to raise prices. Previously, on March 18, Alibaba Cloud announced that its AI computing power, storage, and other products would increase by up to 34%.
