# Kia lowers its electric vehicle sales target for 2030 by about 20%

South Korea's Kia Motors Corporation on Thursday lowered its 2030 electric vehicle sales target by about 20% to 1 million units, reflecting weak demand and the impact of the U.S. canceling electric vehicle subsidies last year. In an update to its long-term business plan presented to investors, Kia also reduced its overall vehicle sales target for 2030 from 4.19 million units to 4.13 million units. (Sina Finance)
