Nanjing Panda Electronics Company ( (HK:0553) ) has issued an announcement.

Nanjing Panda Electronics Company Limited has subscribed to two structured deposit products issued by Hua Xia Bank, committing a total principal of RMB150 million. The first product, subscribed in October 2025 with RMB100 million, is a low-risk, capital- and minimum-return-guaranteed structured deposit linked to the spot gold price AU9999 on the Shanghai Gold Exchange, offering an expected annualised return between 0.15% and 2.10%.

The second subscription, made in April 2026 for RMB50 million from the same bank, brought the aggregated principal above the disclosure threshold under Hong Kong listing rules. As a result, the combined transactions qualify as a discloseable transaction, triggering reporting and announcement obligations, and signaling the company’s ongoing use of low-risk wealth management products to enhance yield on its cash reserves while complying with regulatory requirements.
