April 10 Midday Market Review: ChiNext Up 2.62% at Midday; Over 4,500 Stocks Rise Across the Market

The market opened higher and moved higher in the morning, with the SSE Index reclaiming the 4,000-point mark intraday and the ChiNext rising over 3% at one point. The financial sector strengthened, with NANHUA FUTURES hitting the daily limit and CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. rising over 7%. The lithium battery industry chain rallied, as Gotion High-tech, Shanghai Shiba, and Xinyuren hit the daily limit. The glass substrate packaging concept remained active, with Rainbow Display, Wufang Optoelectronics, and VOGO Photonics all achieving two consecutive daily limits. On the downside, the fiber optic concept fell, with Huiyuan Communication hitting the limit down. Stocks saw a broad-based rally, with over 4,500 stocks rising across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing exchanges. Morning turnover totaled 1.51 trillion yuan. By the midday close, the SSE Index was up 0.63%, the Shenzhen Index was up 1.74%, and the ChiNext was up 2.62%.
