US CPI Report: Gasoline Price Surge Hits Highest Since Records Began in 1967

Gasoline prices in the US March CPI report accounted for nearly three-quarters of the US CPI increase. US March CPI energy prices rose 10.9% month-on-month, the largest increase since 2005.
