# The annual inflation rate in Brazil rose to 4.14% in March, exceeding expectations

According to data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Brazil's annual inflation rate rose to 4.14% in March 2026, up from 3.81% in February, and slightly higher than the market expectation of 4%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI increased by 0.88%, compared to a growth of 0.7% in February
