# Serbian Post adds 100 new electric vans to its fleet

Serbia’s postal service has been using electric vehicles since 2023: that year, it added 31 units of the Logistar 200 electric van from US manufacturer Cenntro to its fleet, followed by 95 units of the Logistar 260 the following year. In 2025, it procured 216 e-scooters.

Now, the electrification of its fleet is gaining further momentum with the addition of 100 new electric delivery vehicles. Delivery efficiency is set to improve significantly, accelerating the transition to a modern, environmentally friendly logistics system.

The vehicles are once again supplied by Cenntro, with Pošta Srbije opting for two different models this time: the Logistar 210V, the successor to the previously used Logistar 200. According to manufacturer data, the model offers a payload of 1,020 kg and a cargo space of 6.7 cubic metres (2770 mm × 1565 mm × 1550 mm). The 41.85 kWh LFP battery provides a range of up to 218 km, with a DC fast-charging time of 45 minutes from 30 to 80 per cent.

The second model is the Commuter X from Cenntro’s Avantier brand—this is not a classic van but an electric compact car, which the Serbian postal service will primarily use for courier services. The model is 3.72 metres long and, according to the manufacturer, offers a range of up to 285 km.

Acting Director of Pošta Srbije, Zoran Anđelković, stated: “By introducing electric vehicles into delivery, Pošta Srbije is taking an important step towards modernising its operations and further improving its logistics network. Electric delivery vehicles enable more efficient organisation of work in urban areas, reduce operating costs and contribute to sustainable development. In parallel, we are continuing the renovation of the classic part of the vehicle fleet, in order to ensure a stable and reliable delivery system in all parts of Serbia.”

The company plans to procure 438 additional electric vehicles soon, with a tender for this expected to be launched shortly. However, the specific vehicle categories involved have not yet been disclosed.
