# "Foreign Exchange" Observing US-Iran Peace Talks, US Dollar Slightly Weaker

Watching the outcome of the talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, the US dollar weakened further on Friday. The US Dollar Index fell 0.2% to 98.674.

The US dollar against the Japanese yen rose to 159.22. Each 100 Japanese yen is quoted at 4.92 Hong Kong dollars.

The euro against the US dollar rose to 1.172.

The British pound against the US dollar rose to 1.346.

The US dollar against the Swiss franc fell to 0.789.

The US dollar against the Canadian dollar rose to 1.383.

The Australian dollar against the US dollar fell to 0.707
