# The Tianhong CSI Agriculture Thematic ETF (512620) has raised nearly 250 million yuan in the past 20 days, institutions: the capacity reduction process in the pig industry is expected to accelerate

On April 10, the three major indices rose collectively, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.51%, the Shenzhen Component Index up 2.24%, and the ChiNext Index up 3.78%. The CSI Agriculture Thematic Index fell 0.77%. Among the constituent stocks of this index, Batian Co., Ltd. rose over 2%, Chenguang Bio, Guangxin Co., Ltd., and Tianma Technology rose over 1%, while COFCO Technology and Lier Chemical rose nearly 1%.

In terms of related ETFs, **Agriculture ETF Tianhong (512620)** had a trading volume of CNY 3.0617 million at the close, with a premium rate of 0.13%. According to Wind data, this ETF saw a net inflow of CNY 14.3469 million on April 9, and as of April 9, the cumulative net inflow over the past 20 trading days was nearly CNY 250 million. The latest circulating shares of this ETF are 1.085 billion shares, with a latest circulating scale of CNY 1.11 billion.

Agriculture ETF Tianhong (512620) closely tracks the CSI Agriculture Index, covering areas such as breeding and agrochemicals, with constituent stocks including MUYUAN, Wens Foodstuff Group, and Haida Group, achieving diversified layout, and also includes off-market connection funds (Class A 010769, Class C 010770).

**Guosen Securities** stated that with the approach of spring plowing fertilizer, the demand for replenishing inventory at the terminal is being released. Additionally, influenced by the recent situation in the Middle East, there is a strong bullish sentiment in the downstream compound fertilizer market. The global potash fertilizer industry is oligopolistic, with prominent resource scarcity, and the medium to long-term supply-demand pattern continues to optimize. Meanwhile, potash fertilizer demand is expected to benefit from the growth of biofuel demand under high oil prices, and product prices are expected to rise moderately.

**Kuyuan Securities** believes that the current supply of the pig farming industry remains loose, and the deepening losses of piglets are accelerating the release of pessimistic expectations. As the extent and duration of farming losses expand, the industry's capacity reduction process is expected to accelerate, and investors need to closely monitor clear signals of capacity clearance, such as the inventory of breeding sows.
