# The US-Iran overnight negotiations are "very emotional," the energy crisis remains unresolved, and the Guotai ChiNext New Energy ETF (159387) leads with nearly a 2% increase, with a net inflow of over 130 million yuan for four consecutive days, ranking first in its category

US-Iran all-night negotiations were "very emotional," and the energy crisis remains unresolved. On April 13, Guotai ChiNext New Energy ETF (159387) led the gains with an increase of nearly 2%, marking a net inflow of over 130 million yuan for four consecutive days, ranking first in its category by size.

According to Xinhua News Agency, negotiations between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, ended on the 12th without any agreement. The Iranian side stated that the negotiations were conducted in an atmosphere of "distrust and suspicion," with differences on two or three key issues. The US side claimed that it had clearly outlined its "red lines," but the Iranian side did not accept the US conditions. A source familiar with the negotiations in Pakistan revealed that the emotions of both sides fluctuated greatly during the talks.

Relevant institutions indicated that geopolitical conflicts have driven up oil prices, resonating with domestic and international demand. The demand for global energy security has sharply increased due to the geopolitical conflicts in the Middle East. Against this backdrop, the economic viability of solar storage and wind storage has further highlighted the logic of new energy replacing fossil fuels, shifting from a "cost reduction priority" to an "energy security" strategic level, which is expected to accelerate the demand for new energy installations and energy storage in regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Guotai ChiNext New Energy ETF (159387) tracks the Innovation Energy Index (399266), with a daily price fluctuation limit of 20%. As of April 9, it covers lithium batteries, energy storage, photovoltaics, and wind power comprehensively, with solid-state and energy storage content exceeding 60%, and hydrogen energy content around 35%. This index selects listed company securities involved in clean energy, new energy vehicles, and energy storage technologies from the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets as index samples to reflect the overall performance of listed companies in the new energy industry with technological innovation capabilities and growth potential.
