By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.06% to 3988 points, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.69%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.8%, continuing to set a new high for over four years. The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 rose 0.04%. The total trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 2,150.368 billion yuan, a decrease of about 172.5 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day.
