# BUZZ-Silver miners fall as renewed US-Iran tensions reduce interest rate cut expectations

U.S.-listed shares of silver miners fall premarket, tracking a decline in prices of the metal (GOL/)

A Spot silver (XAG=) down 2% at $74.36 per ounce, as renewed fears of a wider Middle East conflict spurred by failed U.S.-Iran talks boosted oil prices, fueled inflation concerns and reduced expectations of U.S. Federal Reserve rate cuts this year

Hecla Mining (HL.N) drops 2%, Coeur Mining (CDE.N) falls 2.6%

Canadian miners Endeavour Silver (EXK.N) and Silvercorp Metals (SVM.N) fall 2.3% and 4.1%, respectively

Abrdn Physical Silver Shares ETF (SIVR.P) and iShares Silver Trust ETF (SLV.P) each dip 2.6%
