# Brief: BOC AVIATION signed 20 lease commitments in the first quarter

The aircraft leasing company **BOC AVIATION** (2588.HK) **announced** its operational data for the first quarter on Monday. General Manager and CEO Steven Townsend stated that a total of 10 aircraft were delivered in the first quarter, and 20 leasing commitments were signed, of which 19 were new aircraft from the company's order book, reflecting strong market demand for aircraft.

He further stated that the company's aircraft utilization and collection rates remained at 100%. Currently, the company has a total of 461 aircraft with an average age of 5.1 years and an average remaining lease term of 7.7 years.

At the same time, the company successfully raised $2.5 billion in the capital markets, including $500 million in seven-year bonds and $2 billion in loan financing signed with 19 banks.

BOC AVIATION opened flat at HKD 82.25 on Tuesday, with the company's stock price down 11% from its high over the past year.
