The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,872 points, up 211 points or 0.8%. The Hang Seng TECH Index reported 4,851 points, up 29 points or 0.6%. The National Index rose 69 points or 0.8%, closing at 8,671 points. The total market turnover was HKD 236.776 billion.
