# US March PPI Year-Over-Year at 4%, Prior at 3.4%

The US March PPI rose 0.5% month-over-month, against an expectation of 1.2% and a prior reading of 0.7%. The US March core PPI increased 0.1% month-over-month, below expectations of 0.5% and matching the prior 0.5%. The US March core PPI grew 3.8% year-over-year, down from 3.9% previously.
