# Bloomberg: Anthropic receives a new round of financing offers, with a valuation reaching 800 billion USD

Bloomberg cited informed sources revealing that Anthropic PBC has received several offers from multiple investors for a new round of financing, which could value the artificial intelligence startup at around $80 billion or more. However, the developer of Claude has so far remained restrained in response to these overtures and has not accepted the related proposals.

These offers would more than double Anthropic's pre-money valuation of $35 billion given in a $30 billion financing round in February.

According to informed sources, discussions between Anthropic and investors are still in the early stages, and a deal may not ultimately be reached, with relevant details subject to change. Due to the information being non-public, the sources requested anonymity. Business Insider previously reported some details regarding the negotiations. Anthropic declined to comment
