# After the "YouSiYi" incident caused a huge shock in the industry, EAST BUY announced it will sell cross-border self-operated health products

In the past month, the "YouSiYi" incident has continued to escalate, plunging the entire health supplement industry into a storm of false advertising and causing industry turmoil.

Looking back at the incident, the internet celebrity brand YouSiYi, claimed to be "genuine Australian imported," was exposed by CCTV for allegedly falsifying its place of origin. Subsequently, several celebrities and influencers who had promoted related products issued public apologies and announced after-sales plans.

On April 3rd, YouSiYi's official WeChat account released a statement saying that the company is fully cooperating with regulatory investigations and has submitted relevant receipts and information, while also initiating self-examination and correction. Currently, several of its accounts have been suspended, and its operations are in an abnormal state, with after-sales services nearly coming to a halt.

At that time, EAST BUY was caught up in the related controversy, and it subsequently refuted the claims, stating that it had never sold YouSiYi products on any platform and had no cooperation with them.

It is worth mentioning that on April 15th, EAST BUY announced that six of its self-operated health food products received the national "blue hat" certification, which also means that the company will sell its own health supplements. Additionally, EAST BUY announced that it will gradually launch seven cross-border self-operated health food products by 2026
