Smart announced the schedule on Weibo on Thursday as part of its brand night, which takes place on the eve of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. The Smart #6 is the brand's first luxury hatchback sedan, designed specifically for the Chinese market. It is also the largest model in the brand's history, boasting a wheelbase of 2,926 millimeters. In December last year, Smart filed regulatory documents for the Smart #6 EHD, revealing dimensions of 4,906 mm in length, 1,922 mm in width, and 1,508 mm in height. The new car is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid system, featuring an engine with a maximum output of 120 kilowatts.
