# The UK's GDP in February rose by 0.5% month-on-month, exceeding expectations

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced that the UK's GDP for February increased by 0.5% month-on-month, exceeding market expectations of a 0.1% increase, with the previous value revised upwards to a 0.1% increase.

For the three months ending in February, the UK's GDP increased by 0.5% compared to the three months ending in November of last year, surpassing market expectations of a 0.2% increase, with the previous value revised upwards to a 0.3% increase
