# The main A-share indices rose collectively, with over 4,200 stocks increasing. Attention is drawn to the investment value of E Fund CSI A500 ETF (159361)

On April 16, the major indices of A-shares opened high and continued to rise, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.7%. More than 4,200 stocks in the entire market rose. In terms of sectors, computing power leasing, energy metals, cloud gaming, titanium dioxide, small metals, dyes, batteries, chemical fibers, and steel sectors led the gains, while oil and gas extraction and services, banking, innovative drugs, and pork sectors lagged behind. Large technology stocks in the Hong Kong market collectively strengthened, with new energy and complete vehicle sectors also rising.

By the close, the CSI A500 Index rose 1.3%, the CSI 300 Index rose 1.1%, the ChiNext Index rose 3.2%, the SSE STAR 50 Index rose 1.1%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 2.1%.
