# April's First Convertible Bond Issuances Begin

Wind data shows that recently the outstanding balance scale of the convertible bond market has approached 500 billion yuan, shrinking by nearly 40% from the 875.8 billion yuan at the end of 2023. At this time, the convertible bond market finally welcomed new supply. On April 16, two convertible bonds focusing on the semiconductor sector, KemaTek and StarPower Semiconductor bonds, officially opened online subscription.

Overall, the current efficiency of convertible bond reviews is improving, particularly with more efficient registration approvals from the CSRC. Statistics show that in April, five companies had their convertible bond issuance plans approved for registration by the CSRC: IECHO, Aoshikang Technology Co. , Ltd, Jin Sanjiang, Diwell, and Huaxiang Shares.
