# BUZZ-US cruise stocks surge as Iran keeps Strait of Hormuz open

Shares of US cruise operators rise premarket after Iran says that the Strait of Hormuz was open to all commercial shipping for duration of Lebanon ceasefire, that sent oil prices plunging

U.S.-listed shares of Carnival (CCL.N) were up 5.8% at $28.88, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH.N) rose 5.6% to $21.19, Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.N) up 5% at $278.86

Viking Holdings (VIK.N) up 4.3% at $83.79

Wall Street’s main indexes were set to open higher as investors welcomed signs that the seven-week-long conflict in the Middle East could end soon

In 2025, NCLH lost 13.5%, VIK rose 62.1%, RCL gained 20.9% and CCL was up 22.5%
