# In the "Bond Market," the easing of the Middle East situation leads to a decline in U.S. Treasury yields

Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz, easing market concerns about rising global inflation and weakening economic activity. U.S. Treasury yields fell significantly on Friday.

The two-year Treasury yield dropped 7 basis points to 3.708%.

The ten-year bond yield fell 5.9 basis points to 4.25%.

The thirty-year bond yield decreased 4.3 basis points to 4.887%
