# Tesla expands robotaxi service to Dallas and Houston

Tesla announced on Saturday that the electric vehicle manufacturer is launching robotaxi services in Dallas and Houston, marking a further expansion of Tesla's emerging services in the U.S. since its launch in Austin, Texas last year.

Tesla's official robotaxi account on X announced the launch of the service and released two videos showcasing its best-selling Model Y SUV operating in both cities without a human driver or monitor in the front seats. It also released two maps outlining the service area but did not disclose more details such as fleet size or pricing.

"Try Tesla robotaxi in Dallas and Houston!" Tesla CEO Elon Musk said while retweeting the post on X
