# DeFiLlama Co-Founder Analyzes Post-Hack Scenarios for Kelp DAO's rsETH

DeFiLlama co-founder 0xngmi has outlined three potential scenarios following the hack affecting Kelp DAO's rsETH. According to NS3.AI, one scenario suggests that Aave could face approximately $216 million in bad debt after an 18.5% haircut. Another option, which leaves rsETH holders on Layer 2 solutions uncompensated, could result in about $341 million of bad debt on Aave. A third approach, involving a pre-hack snapshot, would still result in around $91 million in losses even after Umbrella coverage.
