The two parties will engage in deep cooperation around unified management of cloud resources, construction of digital platforms, large model and AI applications, enhancement of user operation capabilities, and collaborative R&D tools, promoting the digital and intelligent upgrade of the energy industry. This signing represents a comprehensive strategic cooperation at the group level between China Gas and Tencent, aiming to integrate resources from both sides to achieve sector synergy, quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and acceleration of AI innovation. ## Cooperation with Tencent Cloud Established 6 Years Ago As early as 2020, China Gas's subsidiary, Mingqi Home, began cooperation with Tencent Cloud; in 2021, Hong Kong and China Gas collaborated with Tencent Cloud to build a smart energy ecosystem platform, currently serving over 100 integrated energy projects; in 2023, Mingqi Home and Tencent Cloud launched comprehensive strategic cooperation in multiple areas including cloud platforms, big data, artificial intelligence, and user management, providing one-stop living service solutions for 46 million household users in Hong Kong and mainland China. After six years of cooperation, both parties have achieved significant results. Mingqi Home has promoted the digital foundation upgrade and application innovation of the Mingqi Cloud (TLC) platform based on Tencent Cloud, and built the Towngas Analytics Platform (TAP) for China Gas Group using Tencent Cloud TBDS, which currently supports over 70 gas companies under its umbrella in applying big data. ## Successful Experience to be Replicated in Hong Kong In terms of AI applications, leveraging Tencent's AI computing power and large model technology, Mingqi Home has launched innovative applications such as intelligent safety inspections and service intelligence, significantly improving the service efficiency of frontline employees in gas companies; to better serve gas users, they have deeply applied Tencent Enterprise WeChat to enhance customer reach; in R&D, Mingqi Home has also widely used Tencent's AI R&D tools to improve efficiency. In addition, both parties will replicate their successful experiences from the mainland to Hong Kong, completing the construction of the TAP platform across the mainland and Hong Kong, and advancing the upgrade of business system construction in Hong Kong.
