COMEX gold futures dropped 0.85% to $4,838.10 per ounce. Spot silver fell 1.43% to $79.7379 per ounce. COMEX silver futures rose 2.53% to $80.350 per ounce. COMEX copper futures declined 1.08% to $6.1070 per pound. Spot platinum was down 0.90%, while spot palladium gained 0.35%.
