# Tencent QClaw launches overseas beta testing, supporting mainstream IMs such as WhatsApp and Telegram

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on April 21, Tencent (00700) officially launched the overseas beta test of QClaw. This overseas version continues the minimalist gene of the domestic version: zero threshold, no deployment, and ready to use upon download. It also supports mainstream IMs such as WhatsApp and Telegram, and includes several top international large models. Currently, the overseas version of QClaw has been launched in countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Singapore, and South Korea, supporting multiple languages including Chinese, English, French, Spanish, and Korean, with more regions being gradually opened.

Peter Steinberger, the founder of OpenClaw, stated on social media, "Thanks to the Tencent team for collaborating with us and providing evaluation data to improve the performance of OpenClaw's harness! We are also working with them to feed these fixes and improvements back to the open-source repository. For friends who are not used to command lines, QClaw is a great choice."

QClaw is built on the OpenClaw open-source framework and accumulated over a million users within 10 days of its domestic launch. During the beta testing period, many overseas users expressed their anticipation for this "minimalist packaging, easy-to-use" agent tool. QClaw includes several top international large models and supports custom integration, flexibly adapting to different countries' compliance requirements and performance preferences.

It is reported that the overseas version of QClaw is based on more than 80 feature iterations from the domestic version, completing product development in just 5 days, with about 99% of the code written by QClaw itself. In terms of data privacy and security, the overseas version insists on local operation, with all data processed on the user's device. In addition, the overseas version has fully integrated the "Lobster Butler (The Gateway)" security module that has been successfully run in the domestic version, providing real-time protection for prompts, skills, and execution scripts throughout the entire process
