# In March, the mainland's refined copper production increased by 8.7% year-on-year to 1.33 million tons, setting a new record

The National Bureau of Statistics announced that the refined copper production in March was 1.33 million tons, an annual increase of 8.7%, reaching the highest level since records began in 1990. In the first quarter of this year, the cumulative production in the mainland was 3.785 million tons, an annual increase of 9.3%
