MIIT: Construction of Ten-Gigabit Optical Network Pilot Projects Proceeding in an Organized Manner with Good Achievement of Pilot Goals
The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released a report on the completion of ten-gigabit optical network pilot projects. Overall, the construction of pilot projects is proceeding in an organized manner, and the achievement of pilot goals is good. Ten-gigabit optical networks have been piloted and deployed in scenarios such as residential communities, factories, and industrial parks. Applications cultivated include cloud computers, cloud gaming, industrial optical quality inspection, artificial intelligence + ultra-high-definition video surveillance, model training and inference applications, and integrated communication and sensing services, providing important reference for promoting the transition of ten-gigabit optical networks from technical pilots to deployment and application.
