# Non-US Currencies Widespread Decline as Investors Watch Trump's Ceasefire Deadline for Iran

On Tuesday (April 21) near the close of trading in New York, USD/JPY rose 0.41% to 159.39 yen, with intraday trading ranging between 158.75 and 159.64 yen.

EUR/USD fell 0.38%, GBP/USD dropped 0.24%, and USD/CHF rose 0.35%.

Among commodity currency pairs, AUD/USD declined 0.39%, NZD/USD remained roughly flat, and USD/CAD rose 0.14%.

SEK/USD fell 0.69%, NOK/USD dropped 0.29%—significantly plunging after Trump announced an indefinite ceasefire with Iran—and DKK/USD declined 0.41%.

PLN/USD fell 0.63%, and USD/HUF rose 0.98%.

INR/USD closed down 0.40%, TRY/USD fell 0.10%, ZAR/USD dropped 0.73%, MXN/USD declined 0.14%, and BRL/USD rose 0.25%.
