# PRECIOUS METALS | Commerzbank Predicts Gold to Boost Silver Prices

Commerzbank has expressed its view that silver's fair value is closer to $40 rather than the current $80. According to Jin10, the bank also forecasts that gold prices will return to $5,000 as the U.S. Federal Reserve is expected to cut interest rates in the latter half of the year. This anticipated rise in gold prices is projected to push silver prices up to $90.
