## Market Overview

Strong corporate earnings combined with Trump's brief extension of the ceasefire deal pushed US major indices higher, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq reaching record highs, led by tech stocks.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose about 2.7%, marking its longest winning streak on record at 16 consecutive trading days. All seven major US tech stocks closed higher, with software stocks rising for eight consecutive days, rebounding nearly 20% from their April lows. Boeing rose over 5.5% as its quarterly loss was smaller than expected.

After hours, Tesla initially jumped 4% but later fell over 2%; Texas Instruments surged 10%, while software giant ServiceNow plummeted over 13%, dragging down the SaaS sector, and IBM dropped more than 6%.

Despite strong demand in the 20-year US Treasury auction, Treasury yields moved in a V-shape overall but followed oil prices higher; the 2-year yield rose 1.5 basis points, and the 10-year yield rose 1.4 basis points.
