Wang Jianxun, Director of the Treasury Payment Center of the Ministry of Finance, stated at a press conference held by the Ministry of Finance that general public budget revenue nationwide in the first quarter reached 6.16 trillion yuan, up 2.4% year-on-year. The growth rate increased by 1.7 percentage points compared to the first two months and surpassed the level of the same period over the past three years, reflecting strong momentum in the start of China's economic operation and a favorable beginning.
