# Oracle Gets Bullish Wedbush Rating

Oracle (ORCL, Financials) rose in premarket trading after Wedbush initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and a $225 price target, citing the company's growing role in artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Analysts led by Dan Ives said Oracle is becoming a key provider of cloud infrastructure for AI workloads, supported by partnerships with OpenAI and Nvidia. The firm said investors may be too focused on capital spending risks while underestimating Oracle's contract-backed demand.

Wedbush pointed to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's network design, which it said supports high-performance, low-latency computing for large AI model training. The analysts also highlighted Oracle AI Database 26ai as a tool for connecting AI models with enterprise data.

Oracle's multi-cloud database revenue rose 531% year over year in the third quarter of fiscal 2026. Wedbush also cited Oracle's $553 billion in remaining performance obligations as evidence that spending is tied to a large backlog.

Investors will watch whether Oracle can turn that backlog into revenue while managing capital spending and cash flow.
