# Trump: I won't let banks hinder legislation to structure the crypto market.

At a private event for Trump Meme holders at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, US President Donald Trump stated that the White House will not allow banking lobbying groups to undermine the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, a bill that would disrupt the structure of the crypto market. He claimed that the crypto industry has entered the mainstream, that "the United States is a leader in crypto," and that banks should not hinder the establishment of a regulatory framework for stablecoins and crypto.
