# NVIDIA rose 4%, reaching a historic high

On Monday, NVIDIA, the top stock by trading volume in the U.S. market, rose 4%, reaching an all-time high with a trading volume of $39.231 billion. A data center developer closely tied to NVIDIA plans to issue $4.5 billion in junk bonds on Monday to finance its 200-megawatt project in Nevada, underwritten by JP Morgan, with initial yield guidance in the high range of 6%.

The core reason for the project's ability to leverage massive funding lies in the approximately 16-year initial lease and renewal options signed with NVIDIA—this blue-chip tenant model significantly reduces the cash flow risk for the project company. This marks the second large-scale bond issuance for the project: in February of this year, the same developer issued $3.8 billion in junk bonds that attracted $14 billion in subscription demand.

This additional financing comes at a time when demand for AI computing power is surging, and there is an extreme shortage of data center space and power supply, prompting tech giants to secure future computing power through such means. This infrastructure boom is spreading from the investment-grade market to the junk bond market, with Google previously seeking $5.7 billion in financing through a similar structure
