# BitMart will launch Pharos (PROS)

According to the official announcement, BitMart will launch Pharos (PROS) on April 28th at 23:00 (UTC+8), with the PROS/USDT trading pair available. Pharos is an inclusive Layer 1 public chain built specifically for RealFi, integrating real-world assets, institutional capital, and decentralized finance into a programmable, borderless economy. It aims to make real-world financial assets accessible to everyone, bridging Web2 and Web3 to form a unified, transparent, and open digital financial city. Founded by the core management and engineering team of Ant Group, it adopts a DP4 deep parallel architecture (prototype testing achieved 130,000+ TPS), supports EVM + WASM dual virtual machine execution, and has built-in RWA tokenization and stablecoin infrastructure. It has received support from global traditional financial institutions such as Hack VC and Faction VC. The private mainnet officially launched on December 12, 2025.
