# Armstrong World Industries Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Rise; Raises 2026 Adjusted EPS Guidance

06:27 AM EDT, 04/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Armstrong World Industries ( AWI ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.69 per diluted share, up from $1.66 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.81.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $409.9 million, compared with $382.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $409.5 million.

For 2026, the company expects adjusted earnings of between $8.15 to $8.45 per diluted share, compared with its prior guidance of $8.05 to $8.35. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $8.30.

Armstrong World Industries ( AWI ) reiterated its full year net sales guidance of $1.75 billion to $1.79 billion. Analysts are looking for $1.77 billion.

Shares of the company were down over 2% in Tuesday premarket activity.
