Tianjin Port Development Holdings ( (HK:3382) ) has shared an announcement.

Tianjin Port Development Holdings has disclosed the unaudited first-quarter 2026 results of its mainland subsidiary, Tianjin Port Holdings, prepared under Chinese accounting standards. The parent indirectly owns about 56.81% of the Shanghai-listed port operator, which reported a modest contraction in revenue but a notable improvement in profitability.

For the three months ended 31 March 2026, Tianjin Port Holdings’ operating income fell to about RMB 2.63 billion from RMB 3.01 billion a year earlier, yet net profit climbed to roughly RMB 519.8 million from RMB 422.8 million. The stronger earnings, including higher profit attributable to the company’s shareholders, suggest better cost control and investment returns, which may support the group’s financial performance and reinforce its position in China’s port and logistics sector despite softer top-line growth.
