Shares of **CommVault Systems, Inc.** (NASDAQ:CVLT) rose sharply during Tuesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results. CommVault reported quarterly earnings of $1.28 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $1.08 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $311.692 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $307.200 million. CommVault shares jumped 9.9% to $97.20 on Tuesday.
