# NVIDIA invested $130 million to sign a 10-year lease in Bangalore, expanding its business footprint in India

NVIDIA is establishing a foothold in India through a massive office leasing deal, highlighting its strong push in the global AI development sector. The chip giant's Indian subsidiary has signed an agreement to lease approximately 760,000 square feet of office space in the Mahadevpura area of Bangalore, with a lease term of 10 years and a transaction value exceeding $130 million. The lease will take effect on April 1, 2026, covering 12 floors of the Memphis South Tower under Bagmane Capital. NVIDIA has also paid a deposit of over $3.6 million.

This agreement is one of the largest office leasing transactions in Bangalore and marks an important step in NVIDIA's expansion in India. The new space will more than double NVIDIA's existing office area in India. The new facilities will be used to support engineering, research and development, and AI-related businesses to meet the growing global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure.

India has become a significant hub for global tech talent. NVIDIA's move underscores its strategic intent to expand its business footprint in high-growth areas of AI development.
