# Amazon launches OpenClaw-like smart body, intensifying its entry into the enterprise software market

Amazon (AMZN) launched its self-developed OpenClaw-like desktop AI on Tuesday and introduced multiple independent AI intelligent services, officially intensifying its efforts to capture market share in the enterprise software sector.

This desktop intelligent agent is a new upgraded version of Amazon's existing cloud service **Amazon Quick**, capable of autonomously completing various office tasks, including writing emails and retrieving personal data.

Amazon stated that Quick can operate across multiple ecosystems and is compatible with mainstream office tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom, enabling seamless retrieval of user data scattered across different platforms.

The desktop attribute also supports the intelligent agent in pushing reminders on demand: for example, documents that need updating, missed emails, and business orders in the Salesforce system that require follow-up.

Jigar Taka, Vice President of Amazon's enterprise AI intelligent agent business, stated:

"Quick is not limited to Q&A interactions; it can also proactively perform practical tasks, such as scheduling meetings, sending emails on behalf of users, generating data dashboards, and following up on to-do items."

He added, "This product actively pushes a daily to-do list, clarifying core work priorities and handling methods, assisting users in completing their work efficiently."

OpenClaw previously gained popularity among developers due to its ability to operate locally on desktops and execute tasks by accessing users' local data.

Its advantages include high customization, on-demand data permission authorization, and automated office process handling; however, it also poses serious **security risks**.

Amazon emphasized that Quick is equipped with multiple security mechanisms, requiring user manual confirmation before retrieving data or executing operations.

In addition to Quick, Amazon has expanded its AI customer service platform Amazon Connect into four major vertical AI intelligent services:

1. Connect Decisions: Supply chain scenarios
2. Connect Talent: Recruitment scenarios
3. Connect Customer AI: Customer service scenarios
4. Connect Health: Healthcare scenarios

This strategic move is a key initiative for Amazon to deepen its presence in the enterprise software arena, directly competing with industry giants like Microsoft and Salesforce.

Currently, the market is widely questioning whether AI will gradually replace the core functions of traditional enterprise software, casting doubt on the long-term development prospects of the industry.

In recent months, the "SaaS apocalypse theory" has continued to ferment, leading to significant declines in the sector: Salesforce has dropped 30% this year, Thomson Reuters has fallen 33%, and ServiceNow has seen a decline of 39%
