The approval allows the BF1 Advantage ASEAN Equity Fund to be launched under the EQDP framework, designed to strengthen Singapore’s asset management ecosystem and encourage participation in local equity markets. The fund will invest across ASEAN equities, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and will be available to institutional and Singapore retail investors. MAS said the EQDP is aimed at supporting the development of Singapore’s equity market by broadening investor participation and enhancing market activity. The strategy is built on BlackRock’s systematic equities platform using a data-driven approach supported by machine learning and large-scale datasets. The portfolio is expected to hold between 100 and 300 securities. Around half of the portfolio will be allocated to Singapore equities, including small- and mid-cap companies, alongside regional exposures. The strategy tracks the MSCI ASEAN Investable Market Index (IMI), which covers about 350 stocks across ASEAN markets. BlackRock said ASEAN equities offer opportunities supported by domestic demand trends, corporate fundamentals and valuation dispersion across markets. The ASEAN SAE strategy is part of BlackRock’s broader $426.48b (USD334b) systematic equities platform. ### Related Stocks - [BLK.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BLK.US.md) - [ASEA.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/ASEA.US.md) - [EWS.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/EWS.US.md) - [BTX.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BTX.US.md) - [BIT.RT*.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BIT.RT*.US.md) - [BDJ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BDJ.US.md) - [BSTZ.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BSTZ.US.md) - [BIT.RT.US](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/BIT.RT.US.md) ## Related News & Research - [BlackRock private credit fund valuation practices under investigation - report](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286621253.md) - [Here's How Much $1000 Invested In BlackRock 20 Years Ago Would Be Worth Today](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286621160.md) - [Federal Probe Puts BlackRock Private Credit Valuations And Growth Plans Under Review](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286654023.md) - [BlackRock $BLK Shares Purchased by VIRGINIA RETIREMENT SYSTEMS ET Al](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286407326.md) - [BlackRock-backed Commonwealth LNG approves $13B Louisiana export project](https://longbridge.com/en/news/286570209.md)
