An update from EcoGraf ( (AU:EGR) ) is now available.

EcoGraf reported significant progress in the March quarter on its Epanko Graphite Mine in Tanzania, completing an updated bankable feasibility study that lifted plant throughput to 73,000 tonnes per year and delivered a pre-tax NPV of US$516m with a 31.1% IRR. The company advanced international project finance under KfW IPEX-Bank, aligned the project with global tailings standards, and applied for German-backed community development co-funding while exploring low‑carbon building products using mine tailings.

Downstream, EcoGraf strengthened its HFfree purification strategy through a non-binding offtake partnership with Mitsubishi Chemical for up to 10,000 tonnes a year of spherical graphite, a collaboration with Taiwan’s LTT to develop purification facilities in South-east Asia and Taiwan, and grant work with the European Investment Bank and other EU and U.S. programs. Amid tightening Chinese export controls on graphite and growing global EV adoption, the company also progressed recycling trials with battery and EV manufacturers, advanced gold exploration farm-in activities with AngloGold Ashanti, and ended the quarter with A$6.2m in cash.
