Jintai Energy Holdings Limited ( (HK:2728) ) has shared an update.

Jintai Energy Holdings has issued a supplemental announcement explaining the delay in publishing its audited annual results and report for the year ended 31 December 2025, as well as the continued suspension of trading in its shares. The company highlights that unresolved accounting treatment for matured convertible notes, which are now classified as current liabilities repayable on demand, is central to the delay and has material implications for its going concern and liquidity assessment.

Management is still negotiating new agreements with the noteholder to amend key terms and possibly extend the notes, and the auditors require more time to assess different scenarios for the group’s cash flow forecast. The audit has also been slowed by delayed bank, supplier, and customer confirmations and outstanding supporting documents due in part to the Lunar New Year holiday, and the company says it will start post‑year‑end audit work earlier in future to avoid similar disruptions.
