# U.S. Equities Remain King but Diversification Plays Grow

While the **Invesco QQQ Trust Series I (QQQ)** remained the top ETF picked up by investors on April 28, international equity ETFs benefitted from renewed interest as portfolio diversification plays gained momentum. The **iShares MSCI World ETF (URTH)** and the **iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA)** were top choices as international equity ETFs added $960 million in net flows. That said, U.S. equities still dominated with nearly $5.8 billion in flows. And as interest rates held steady, investors moved $1.7 billion into U.S. fixed income ETFs.

On the redemptions side, outflows continued in gold and investors extended their retreat from the **ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK)**. Small-caps also remain a hard sell for investors looking to increase mega-cap tech and large-cap growth exposures as market momentum continues.
