The demonstration featured a drone taking off from the Hong Kong Science Park, crossing the Tolo Harbour and multiple buildings, ultimately landing accurately on the rooftop of the Medical Supplies Manufacturing Center at the Tai Po Innovation Park managed by the Hong Kong Science Park Corporation, showcasing the stable operation of drone delivery in a complex and changing urban environment. In response to the national "14th Five-Year Plan" emphasizing the promotion of healthy and orderly development of the low altitude economy, Lalamove looks forward to expanding flight routes to outlying islands and the northern metropolitan area in the long term, making the low altitude economy a visible and tangible presence for the public; at the same time, it aims to "go overseas" with its drone logistics solutions to Southeast Asia and other overseas markets, realizing the vision of building Hong Kong into an international innovation and technology center. Since last year, Lalamove has partnered with drone technology partner **Future Wing New Flight Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Future Wing New")** to conduct over 200 drone delivery tests under the framework of the first batch of pilot projects in the "Low Altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox," including more than 150 cargo flights beyond visual line of sight ("BVLOS"). Test results indicate that even in rainy weather and gusty conditions, drones can land safely, accurately, and quickly; and due to their ability to avoid traffic congestion, for the current flight routes, delivery time can be reduced from approximately 20 minutes of traditional land transport to about 9 minutes, improving efficiency by nearly 60%; at the same time, the cost per delivery can be reduced by up to 40%. In the long run, the development of mature drone delivery application scenarios will significantly reduce logistics costs for small and medium-sized enterprises. **Looking forward to expanding local routes and launching into international markets** **Mr. Lu Jia-Pei, Chief Operating Officer of Lalamove**, stated: "As a technology company that started in Hong Kong, Lalamove has always fully supported the national '14th Five-Year Plan' and the development blueprint for low altitude economy promoted by the SAR government. Our test results in the 'Low Altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox' reflect that even in complex and changing urban environments, drones can operate safely and orderly, delivering goods to destinations quickly and accurately. Lalamove hopes to expand flight routes to outlying islands and the northern metropolitan area in the future, assisting small and medium-sized enterprises in improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs, fully demonstrating the practical economic benefits of drone delivery. In the long run, we will also strive to launch the 'Vehicle + Drone' logistics delivery solution to 'go overseas' to Southeast Asia and other overseas markets, jointly constructing a thriving low altitude economy ecosystem on an international level." Mr. Liao Zhenxin, Deputy Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mr. Tsai Chih-Ming, Permanent Secretary for Innovation and Technology and Industry, Legislative Council members Mr. Chan Hang-Bin, Mr. Qiu Da-Geng, Mr. Chan Siu-Hung, and Mr. Lam Ming-Fung, as well as Mr. Wong Ping-Hsiu, CEO of Hong Kong Science Park Corporation, were present to witness the drone delivery process. **Mr. Liao Zhenxin** stated: "The SAR government has always promoted the development of the low altitude economy with proactive, prudent, and orderly principles The project showcased this time is one of the first batch of "regulatory sandbox" projects. Drones have the characteristics of being able to take orders and deliver at any time, and they can avoid road traffic congestion and waiting for ferries. Low-altitude delivery has obvious advantages for transportation in remote and island areas, with the potential to complement existing ground and maritime transport networks. We will continue to work closely with Lalamove and various operators of the "regulatory sandbox" projects to promote more projects to further expand application scenarios and enter regular practical operations while ensuring public and aviation safety. The government is also committed to leveraging Hong Kong's advantages as an international aviation hub, shipping, trade, and financial center to assist low-altitude economic enterprises in "going global," allowing the low-altitude economy to not only serve local livelihoods and industrial upgrades but also have the opportunity to export Hong Kong solutions, standards, and service models overseas. I am pleased to see that Lalamove, while advancing local trials, has begun to think about how to leverage its vast global market network to bring Hong Kong's experience to the international stage, and I wish Lalamove success in promoting low-altitude delivery business overseas as soon as possible, becoming a successful case of local technology "going out." **Hong Kong Science Park Company Provides Key Infrastructure and Support for Innovation and Technology Enterprises to Take Off** Key factors in developing the low-altitude economy include infrastructure construction and innovative breakthroughs in technology applications. The Hong Kong Science Park Company, as a partner in the "Low-Altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox," provides support in the initial stages. This has greatly facilitated the concept verification work of Lalamove conducted in the Science Park and assisted enterprises in low-altitude logistics experiments, promoting the transformation of Hong Kong's low-altitude economy. In this round of testing by Lalamove, drones are landing at the Medical Supplies Manufacturing Center in Tai Po Innovation Park managed by the Hong Kong Science Park Company. **Ms. Mak Sin Ming, Chief Property and Asset Officer of the Hong Kong Science Park Company**, stated: "We are very pleased to see Lalamove grow in the Science Park, evolving from a local startup to a unicorn company that attracts attention in the international market. The Science Park Company has always been an important partner, providing the necessary support and resources to help the team seize opportunities and achieve success on the international stage. Today, we are even more honored to witness Lalamove successfully complete a drone delivery demonstration in the 'Low-Altitude Economy Regulatory Sandbox,' fully demonstrating the support of well-developed infrastructure for low-altitude logistics. With the innovation and technology ecosystem and international network of the Science Park Company, we work hand in hand with enterprises to promote more innovative solutions to accelerate implementation, injecting new momentum into smart logistics. In the future, we will continue to actively collaborate closely with the SAR government and various stakeholders to promote the development of the low-altitude economy, creating a more forward-looking smart logistics landscape for Hong Kong while supporting more innovative solutions to achieve results, consolidating Hong Kong's position as an international innovation and technology center." **Looking Ahead to Smart Future Development: Building an Efficient Low-Altitude Logistics Network** Lalamove has partnered with low-altitude operation company "Future Wing" to launch a cross-sea drone delivery logistics solution. "Future Wing" focuses on providing drones and intelligent systems for aerial management through operations and customized diverse scenarios, creating an efficient, stable, and safe smart operation and flight monitoring platform. This initiative aims to promote the construction and development of the next generation of low-carbon and efficient logistics infrastructure Following this phase of results reporting, Lalamove will continue to work closely with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and various stakeholders, including providing feedback on the experience and data of drone delivery to the government. Lalamove firmly believes that the government's ongoing promotion of low-altitude economy measures, as well as the continuous improvement of legislation and regulatory frameworks, will be key factors in driving the safe and stable development of the industry.
